2026 Full-Day Course: Starry Skies at Shiroyama Lake (城山湖, Honzawa Dam)

This is a day trip to Shiroyama Lake (城山湖, Honzawa Dam), tucked in the mountains of Midori Ward, Sagamihara City. Shiroyama Lake is a dam reservoir built high on a mountain, surrounded by greenery, and its main appeal is the vast sky far from city lights. The walking trail around the lake is open 9:00-16:30 (per Sagamihara City's official information), so this course is built around enjoying the lakeside walk while it's still light out. In the afternoon, first browse local vegetables and specialty goods at the Tsukui Lake Tourist Center (津久井湖観光センター), then enjoy the view of Tsukui Lake (津久井湖) from the garden grounds of Tsukui Lake Shiroyama Park (県立津久井湖城山公園), a prefectural park, before heading to Shiroyama Lake.
