2026 Full-Day Course Enjoying Time at Atsugi City Central Library (厚木市立中央図書館)

Starting from Honatsugi Station (本厚木駅), this is a day that combines park play with quiet time spent with books. In the morning, walk from the station to Atsugi Chuo Park (厚木中央公園) and let the kids run around freely in this spacious park of about 1.9 hectares, built on the site of a former factory. The highlight of the afternoon is Atsugi City Central Library (厚木市立中央図書館). The third floor has a children's book area, where parents and children can browse the picture book and children's book shelves together, easing from an active morning into the world of stories. The library is open from 9:00 to 19:00 (the third-floor children's book area and the audiovisual corner close at 17:00). It is closed on facility maintenance days, during the New Year holidays, and during special organizing periods. With the park in the morning and the library in the afternoon, this course offers just the right rhythm for a child's day out.
