2026 A Full Day at Yamato City Library (大和市立図書館) in the Sirius Culture and Creation Center (文化創造拠点シリウス)

This course completes a full day of play and books entirely around Yamato Station (大和駅). In the morning, head to Yamato Park (やまと公園), a 2-minute walk from the station. Renewed in 2023, the park has a large combination play structure, a bouncy dome, and a wide lawn plaza, along with a rest area, restrooms, and a nursing room, making it a family-friendly spot. The highlight of the afternoon is Yamato City Library (大和市立図書館) inside the Sirius Culture and Creation Center (文化創造拠点シリウス). The 3rd floor has a children's library and an indoor children's plaza, and time spent among the picture-book shelves is perfect for a child's afternoon. The library is open 9:00-21:00 (until 20:00 on Sundays and holidays), while the children's library and indoor children's plaza are open 9:00-19:00. It is closed only on December 31 and January 1, and parking is available. This is a reliable go-to day course that also works well as a rainy-day option.
