2026 A Full-Day Course with Odawara Station East Exit Library

This course completes a day of castle, footbath, and books entirely around Odawara Station. In the morning, head to Odawara Castle Site Park (小田原城址公園). Look up at the castle tower, wander the moats and gates, and fully take in the atmosphere of this former castle town. Back near the station, visit MINAKA Odawara (ミナカ小田原), a commercial facility styled after an old post town. Take a break at Kinjiro Plaza (金次郎広場), linked to Ninomiya Kinjiro, or at the 14th-floor observation footbath garden (展望足湯庭園, free, 10:00-20:00), looking out over Sagami Bay and the town of Odawara. The afternoon's highlight is Odawara Station East Exit Library (小田原駅東口図書館), also inside MINAKA Odawara. Conveniently connected directly to the station, it has a well-stocked shelf of picture books and children's books, making it a perfect place for parent and child to enjoy some reading time at the end of the trip. Open weekdays 9:00-21:00, weekends and holidays 9:00-18:00. Closed on the fourth Monday (facility inspection day), during the New Year holidays (Dec 28-Jan 3), and during book inventory periods. With little travel between stops, this is an easy day to manage even with small children.
