2026 Yamate Italian Hill Garden (山手イタリア山庭園, Diplomat's House and Bluff No. 18) – A Full Day Course

This is a day to enjoy Western-style houses and gardens for free at Yamate Italian Hill Garden (山手イタリア山庭園), spread across a hill in Yokohama's Yamate district (山手). The garden is open 9:30–17:00, and both the Diplomat's House (外交官の家) and Bluff No. 18 (ブラフ18番館) inside it are free to enter (9:30–17:00; the Diplomat's House is closed the 4th Wednesday, Bluff No. 18 the 2nd Wednesday, both closed for the New Year holidays). The garden, laid out geometrically with a canal and flowerbeds, offers views over the Yokohama cityscape, and inside the Western houses you can get a close look at how people once lived. In the morning, visit Harbor View Park (港の見える丘公園) and America Yama Park (アメリカ山公園), directly connected to the station, and in the afternoon take your time at the hilltop garden and houses. This course lets you enjoy the exotic atmosphere of Yokohama's Yamate district for a full day, easy on the wallet.
