A 2026 Full-Day Course Spent at Sagamihara City Hashimoto Library

A day spent with books at Sagamihara City Hashimoto Library, right in front of Hashimoto Station on the 6th floor of the station building Miwi Hashimoto. Its biggest appeal is the outstanding access, directly connected from the station deck, so you can visit without worrying about the weather. It is open 9:30 to 20:00 on weekdays (Tuesday to Friday) and 9:30 to 18:00 on weekends and holidays, and it also has a children's book corner. In the morning, take the bus to Sagamihara Kita Park. Known for about 200 varieties and 10,000 hydrangea plants, one of the city's leading parks, take a leisurely stroll through the seasonal greenery. In the afternoon, return to the station area to the library. A day where you make the library the destination, rather than a stop while shopping, is an opportunity for books to become much more familiar to children. The library is closed on Mondays (if a public holiday, it opens and closes the following day instead), the second Thursday (except in January and April), December 29 to January 4 for the New Year holidays, and April 5 to 11 for collection inspection.
