2026 One-Day Course: A Day at Zushi City Library

A compact Zushi-style day where the station, the sea, and the library are all close together. In the morning, walk about 15 minutes from JR Zushi Station to Zushi Beach (逗子海岸). Set in a deep inlet, its shallow, gently-waved sand is known as a family-friendly beach. On clear days you can even enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji overlapping with Enoshima (江の島). In the afternoon, head to Zushi City Library (逗子市立図書館) near the station, inside Zushi Bunka Plaza (逗子文化プラザ). It's conveniently located about 2 minutes on foot from Keikyu's Zushi-Hayama Station (逗子・葉山駅) and about 5 minutes from JR Zushi Station, and it's open until 19:00 on weekdays, so you can devote the whole afternoon to reading. Play at the sea, then wrap up the day with books, a course that can be completed entirely on foot, making it easy to manage with kids. The library is closed on Tuesdays (open on public holidays, closed the following weekday instead), so please check the opening days before you go.
