2026 One-Day Course: A Day at Hadano City Library
A day exploring a spring-water park and a library in Hadano (秦野), a town known for the Tanzawa (丹沢) mountain range and fine spring water. In the morning, head to Imaizumi Meisui Sakura Park (今泉名水桜公園), just a short walk from Hadano Station. The park is centered on Imaizumi Spring Pond (今泉湧水池), one of the largest-volume springs among the nationally selected Hadano Basin Spring Group (秦野盆地湧水群), part of Japan's Top 100 Famous Waters. Families can take a leisurely stroll among the cherry trees planted around the pond. In the afternoon, visit Hadano City Library (秦野市立図書館), which stands next to the Bunka Kaikan (文化会館, Culture Hall). Use of the library, including borrowing, is completely free with no age restrictions, so everyone from small children to adults can pick out books together. It's open until 19:00 from Wednesday to Sunday, so you can spend the whole afternoon with books. The library is closed on Mondays (open if it falls on a public holiday), so please check the opening days before you go.
