2026 Akazato-en Full-Day Harvest Course
Spend a day enjoying autumn fruit picking at Akazato-en (あかざと園), a pick-your-own mandarin orchard in Yoshinami, Isehara City. It's typically open from early October to early December (in the 2025 season it was open from October 4 to December 7; the 2026 announcement has not yet been posted, so please check the official website before you go). Admission includes 2 hours of all-you-can-eat mandarins inside the orchard, priced at ¥650 for adults, ¥550 for elementary school students, and ¥450 from age 3; taking fruit home costs extra. In the morning, enjoy a historical stroll at Sannomiya Hibita Shrine, an ancient shrine also in Isehara City, then head to the mandarin orchard in the afternoon. It's an autumn day for families to savor freshly picked mandarins against the backdrop of the Tanzawa mountain range.
