2026 Full-Day Fruit-Picking Course at Hijikata Citrus Grove (ひじかたかんきつえん)

Spend a day picking hillside tangerines at Hijikata Citrus Grove (ひじかたかんきつえん) in Mushikubo, Oiso, in Japan's Shonan area. It typically opens on weekends and holidays from late October to mid-November (in the 2025 season it was open October 26 to November 9; the 2026 schedule has not yet been announced, and it may close in rainy weather). Admission, which includes all-you-can-pick tangerines on-site, is 500 yen for adults and 400 yen for children age 3 and up; a take-home souvenir bag costs 800 yen. In the morning, go from Oiso Station to Oiso Joyama Prefectural Park (県立大磯城山公園), taking in the garden and viewpoints of the Former Yoshida Shigeru Residence, then head to the tangerine orchard in Mushikubo in the afternoon.
