2026 Full-Day Fruit-Picking Course at Midoriya Farm (みどりやファーム)

Spend a day enjoying winter strawberry picking at Midoriya Farm (みどりやファーム) in Ochiai, Hadano City, at the foot of Mount Tanzawa (丹沢). Strawberry picking typically runs from early January to mid-June. The 45-minute all-you-can-eat session costs 3,700 yen for elementary school age and up, and 2,000 yen for children age 3 through preschool age (2026 season pricing; strawberries cannot be taken home). Details for the 2027 season have not yet been officially announced, so please check the official website before heading out. Opening days are irregular and may be closed depending on how the strawberries are growing. In the morning, stock up on local vegetables and snacks at JA Hadano's large farm market Jibasanzu (じばさんず), then enjoy some play time at the Wind Suspension Bridge and plaza of Hadano Togawa Prefectural Park (県立秦野戸川公園), the gateway to Tanzawa.
