2026 Farm Square Tanzawa no Mori (ファームスクエア丹沢の森) Seasonal Fruit-Picking Full-Day Course
This is a day to enjoy winter strawberry picking at Farm Square Tanzawa no Mori (ファームスクエア丹沢の森), a tourist farm in Hori-nishi, Hadano, at the foot of Tanzawa. Strawberry picking usually runs from early January through late May. It's 30 minutes of all-you-can-eat with unlimited refills of condensed milk; admission from opening through early April is 2,700 yen for general visitors (elementary school age and up) and 1,300 yen for young children (age 2 through preschool), decreasing in stages as spring progresses (free for under age 2). Thanks to elevated bench cultivation in the roughly 2,640-square-meter (800-tsubo) all-weather greenhouse, you can pick standing up, which is reassuring even with a stroller. In the morning, head from Shibusawa Station to Kanagawa Prefectural Hadano Togawa Park (県立秦野戸川公園), the gateway to Tanzawa, and enjoy plenty of play at the Kaze no Tsuribashi (Wind Suspension Bridge) and the plaza before heading to the farm past midday. Spend a sweet day at the foot of Tanzawa in winter. Please check the official website for opening status before you go.
