This is a day of enjoying Tamagawa pears, a Kawasaki specialty, at Yamamo-en (ヤマモ園), a pear orchard in Nagao, Tama Ward, Kawasaki City. The orchard is listed as a Tamagawa-pear picking orchard by JA Ceresa Kawasaki (JAセレサ川崎), with pickable varieties including Kosui, Hosui, and Kaori. There is also a direct-sales stand nearby. Starting from Mukogaoka-Yuen Station (向ヶ丘遊園駅) on the Odakyu Line and walkable throughout, it is a day of harvest unique to this suburban area close to the city.
