2026 Iwata Masao-en (岩田正雄園) Fruit-Picking Full-Day Course
A day to enjoy autumn mandarin picking at Iwata Masao-en (岩田正雄園), a mandarin orchard in the Hinata area of Isehara City. The season usually runs from mid-October to early December. Hinata is home to the ancient temple Hinata Yakushi (日向薬師), counted among Japan's Three Great Yakushi Temples, making it appealing to combine fruit-picking with a historical stroll in one visit. In the morning, visit Hinata Yakushi to pay your respects and walk through its cedar-lined approach path and main hall with its splendid carvings. In the afternoon, head to the village mandarin orchard. Please check the fee and opening status with the orchard in advance before setting out. This is a mountain-village course rich with autumn harvest, reachable by bus from Isehara Station.
