2026 Benkei Orchard (弁慶果樹園) Fruit-Picking Full-Day Course

A day to enjoy fruit-picking at Benkei Orchard (弁慶果樹園), a tourist orchard in Endo, Fujisawa City. Grape picking runs from early August to late September, and in autumn you can also enjoy sweet potato digging (from early October) and persimmon picking (mid to late October). Admission is 500 yen for adults and 300 yen for children (300 yen for adults and 200 yen for children if staying within one hour), and sweet potato digging costs 400 yen per kilogram. Admission is free with presentation of a disability certificate. In the morning, enjoy the Shonandai Culture Center Kodomo-kan (湘南台文化センターこども館), where a 20-meter-diameter dome planetarium shines with about 10 million stars, along with the exhibition hall. In the afternoon, head to the grape arbors, grown with 100% organic homemade compost. A course that lets you savor both learning and harvest in a single day, perfect for summer vacation.
