2026 Yugawara Mikan-Gari Association (湯河原みかん狩り組合) Full-Day Mandarin Orange Picking Course

A day to enjoy fruit picking at mandarin orange orchards spread across the mountainside in the hot-spring town of Yugawara. The Yugawara Mikan-Gari Association (湯河原みかん狩り組合)'s mandarin picking runs from October 10 to December 17, 2026. Pricing is all-you-can-eat mandarin oranges for 500 yen for adults, 400 yen for children, and 300 yen for toddlers (souvenirs cost extra), an easygoing setup the whole family can enjoy. The reception office is at Doi 5-22-14, Yugawara, and there is also a parking lot. In the morning, pass through the hot-spring town from Yugawara Station (湯河原駅) to Manyo Park (万葉公園) along the mountain stream. Renewed in 2021, the park has a pleasant walking path where you can listen to the murmur of the river as you walk. After lunch, head to the mandarin mountain. On the slopes overlooking Sagami Bay (相模湾), savor freshly picked mandarin oranges to your heart's content. It is a quintessentially Yugawara autumn day that combines the charm of the hot-spring town with the bounty of the mountains.
