2026 Tsukuihama Tourist Farm (津久井浜観光農園) Full-Day Fruit-Picking Course
A day to enjoy digging sweet potatoes in the fruitful autumn at ‘Tsukuihama Tourist Farm (津久井浜観光農園)’ in Yokosuka City. Sweet potato digging is usually held on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only from mid-September to early November, priced at 1,500 yen (5 plants). The same farm is also a hub for fruit picking on the Miura Peninsula (三浦半島), with mandarin orange picking usually from mid-October to the end of November (1,200 yen for elementary school age and up, 600 yen for age 3 and up, all-you-can-eat inside the farm, souvenirs sold separately), and strawberry picking from January through early May. From Tsukuihama Station (津久井浜駅) on the Keikyu Line, first head to Tsukuihama Beach (津久井浜海岸), about a five-minute walk away. At this beach known as a windsurfing mecca, leisurely enjoy shell collecting and playing in the sand. After lunch, move on to the field and dig up sweet potatoes from the soil together as a family. It's a course where you can savor both the sea and the fields, the full flavor of autumn on the Miura Peninsula. Please check the official information for the latest details on event dates before you go.
