2026 Fruit Picking at Hosoyaen: A Full-Day Course
This is a greedy one-day plan in Isehara (伊勢原) that combines a hot spring soak with mandarin orange picking. Hosoyaen (細屋園) is an Isehara City mandarin-picking orchard featured in JA Shonan's (JA湘南) fruit-picking information, with a season that typically runs from mid-October through early December. In the morning, head to Tsurumaki Onsen (鶴巻温泉), one stop away. The day-trip hot spring facility in front of the station, “Koubou no Satoyu” (弘法の里湯), draws on hot springs at the foot of Mt. Tanzawa, letting you soak at leisure from its 10 AM opening through midday. Once you're warmed up, spend the afternoon moving to the mandarin orchard for a family session picking ripened fruit. Freshly picked mandarins eaten after a bath are something special. Please check with the orchard in advance for the day's availability and pricing.
