2026 Cupnoodles Museum Yokohama Cool Stroll: A Full-Day Enjoyment Course
A one-day course through Yokohama's Minato Mirai (みなとみらい) area that links harbor breezes with an indoor museum to beat the heat. The star of the day, Cupnoodles Museum Yokohama (カップヌードルミュージアム横浜), is an indoor facility where you can learn the story of the invention of instant ramen through hands-on exhibits. You can spend the whole hot afternoon inside the air-conditioned museum. Admission is 500 yen for university students and older, and free for high school students and younger. The My Cupnoodles Factory, where you can make your own one-of-a-kind original cup noodles (500 yen per bowl), is very popular with children. The museum is open 10:00-18:00 (last entry 17:00), closed on Tuesdays (or the following day if it is a holiday) and during the New Year holidays. In the morning, cross the seaside promenade Kishamichi (汽車道) from Sakuragicho Station (桜木町駅) to reach the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (横浜赤レンガ倉庫). This is a Yokohama stroll that combines a walk in the sea breeze with indoor cool air, perfect for a lingering-summer-heat day.
