2026 Kawasaki Fujiko F. Fujio Museum Cool Stroll: A Full-Day Course
Spend a day thoroughly enjoying the cool indoor exhibits at the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum (藤子・F・不二雄ミュージアム) in Tama Ward, Kawasaki City (川崎市多摩区). The museum is filled with exhibits letting you experience manga artist Fujiko F. Fujio's original artwork and the world of his manga, and the air-conditioned interior lets you forget the heat outside. It's a perfect indoor spot for afternoons in September and October, when the warming climate keeps the heat going. Opening hours are 10:00-18:00, closed every Tuesday and during the New Year holidays. Admission is fully reservation-based with seven date/time slots per hour; fees are 1,000 yen for adults and university students, 700 yen for high school and junior high school students, 500 yen for children (age 4 and up), and free for children age 3 and under. This course spends the morning strolling through Ikuta Ryokuchi (生田緑地), also in Tama Ward, and touring the old houses at the Kawasaki City Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum (川崎市立日本民家園) within the park, then spends the hot afternoon hours at the cool museum.
