2026 Full-Day Cool Stroll Course: Water Garden at Tsukui Lake Shiroyama Park

This is a day to enjoy the coolness of the fountain and waterfall at the Water Garden (水の苑地) of the prefectural Tsukui Lake Shiroyama Park, which spreads along the shore of Lake Tsukui. The Water Garden is a water-themed park right next to the Shiroyama Dam, and the fountain and waterfall operate from 9:30 to 16:00 from March 20 to November 30 (suspended during rain or cleaning). Combined with the breeze off the lake and the water spray, it is a waterside plaza that stays comfortable even in September and October, when the heat continues due to global warming. Admission is free, and the Water Garden parking lot is available from 8:00 to 19:00. This is a course that visits the Flower Garden (花の苑地) on the opposite shore of the lake and the Tsukui Lake Tourist Center (津久井湖観光センター), lined with local specialties, in the morning, then relaxes and cools off by the fountain in the hot afternoon hours.
