2026 Berrick Hall (ベーリック・ホール) Garden Walk: Full-Day Course

A day exploring hillside gardens and Western-style houses in Yamate, Yokohama, centered on Berrick Hall (ベーリック・ホール), one of the largest Western-style houses in the area. Berrick Hall is open 9:30-17:00 and free to enter. It is closed on the second Wednesday of every month (or the following day if that is a holiday) and over the New Year period (Dec 29-Jan 3). In the morning, visit the Diplomat's House (外交官の家) and Bluff No. 18 (ブラフ18番館) at Yamate Italian Garden (山手イタリア山庭園) near Ishikawacho Station, then take a midday break at Yamate Park (山手公園), Japan's first Western-style park.
