2026 Kuraki Noh Stage (久良岐能舞台) at Kuraki Park (久良岐公園) Garden Walk: Full-Day Course
A day visiting the Kuraki Noh Stage (久良岐能舞台), tucked quietly in the woods of Kuraki Park (久良岐公園), which straddles Konan and Isogo Wards in Yokohama. Viewing the Noh stage is free, and possible on days without events. It is open 9:00-22:00 (closing at 17:00 on days with no evening use), and closed over the New Year period (Dec 29-Jan 3) and on about one facility-inspection day per month. In the morning, set out from Kamiooka Station (上大岡駅) and stroll leisurely around the playground and pond of Kuraki Park, roughly 23 hectares in size. After a picnic lunch, head in the afternoon to the Noh stage deep in the park's woods. The stillness of the tree-lined Japanese garden and stage feels like another world compared to the lively park. It's a slightly special walking course where you can encounter an authentic Japanese-style space right inside a familiar neighborhood park.
