2026 Oiso Shiroyama Park (大磯城山公園) Garden Stroll: A Full-Day Course

This is a day to slowly savor the atmosphere of Oiso, a town of historic villas and gardens, at Oiso Shiroyama Park (大磯城山公園), spread across a hilltop overlooking Sagami Bay. The park consists of two areas, the Former Mitsui Villa District and the Former Yoshida Shigeru Residence District, and entry to both is free. The Former Yoshida Shigeru Residence District is open 9:00-17:00 (last entry 16:45), and touring inside the Former Yoshida Shigeru Residence itself is available 9:00-16:30 (last entry 16:00; 510 yen for adults, 210 yen for junior high/high school students, free for elementary school age and under). In the morning, encounter local fish and vegetables at OISO CONNECT, a complex at Oiso Port, and enjoy the sea view; in the afternoon, head to the greenery of Shiroyama. Tree-lined paths, a hilltop with sea views, and a historic residence -- this course lets you walk through everything that makes Oiso special in a single day. There is a parking lot, so the park is also easy to visit by car.
