2026 Odawara Children's Forest Park Wanpaku Land (小田原こどもの森公園わんぱくらんど) Full-Day Course

This course lets you spend a full day enjoying forest play equipment and rides at Odawara Children's Forest Park Wanpaku Land (小田原こどもの森公園わんぱくらんど), a large, free-admission park spread across the hills of Odawara. Opening hours are 9:00-16:30 (for the paid facilities and administration office). The park is closed on Mondays (except public holidays), on weekdays immediately after a public holiday, and during the New Year period (December 28-January 3). The children's train Nakayoshi-go (なかよし号) and the road train Boken-go (ぼうけん号) that run through the park cost 300 yen one-way for adults (junior high school age and up), 100 yen for elementary school students, and are free for preschoolers; a same-day common free pass covering both is 710 yen for adults and 300 yen for children. Start the morning at Odawara Station (小田原駅), stroll around Odawara Castle Ruins Park (小田原城址公園), a 10-minute walk from the station, then take the bus from the West Exit to Wanpaku Land. It's a day of plenty of active play in a forest with suspension bridges and large play equipment, right up until evening.
