2026 Full-Day Course: Night Views at Higashiogishima East Park

Spend a day enjoying the night views unique to the Keihin Industrial Zone at Higashiogishima East Park (東扇島東公園), which stretches along a canal in Kawasaki. In the early afternoon, have lunch and pick up supplies at LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza (ラゾーナ川崎プラザ), directly connected to Kawasaki Station, then cross over to the island and head to Kawasaki Marien (川崎マリエン). The observation deck, 51 meters above ground, is free to enter and offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Kawasaki Port. In the evening, move on to Higashiogishima East Park, and relax on the artificial beach called Kawasaki no Hama (かわさきの浜) or on the lawn plaza while waiting for sunset. As it grows dark, the factories across the water and the lights of passing ships reflect on the water's surface, creating a night view typical of an industrial port city. The park is free to enter and open 24 hours. Parking is paid (from 200 yen for under 3 hours up to 800 yen for 8 hours or more for standard cars), and vehicles cannot enter between 8:30 PM and 5:00 AM the next day, so drivers should arrive early.
