2026 Yokohama Marine Tower Night View: A Full-Day Course
This is a day devoted to looking down over the harbor's night view from the observation floor of Yokohama Marine Tower, the symbol of Yokohama. In the early afternoon, head to Yokohama Chinatown. Spend a lively afternoon food-hopping and wandering the back alleys, then walk along the seaside promenade at Yamashita Park. In the evening, it's finally time for Marine Tower. The observation floor's night-time hours run from 18:00 to 22:00 (last entry 21:30), and night tickets cost 1,200 yen on weekdays / 1,400 yen on weekends and holidays for general visitors (high school age and up), 700 yen on weekdays / 800 yen on weekends and holidays for elementary and junior high school students, and are free for preschoolers (buying online gives a 100 yen discount on each). From the ground-level observation floor you can take in a sweeping view of the Minato Mirai skyline, the Bay Bridge, and the lights of ships crossing the harbor, and spotting Chinatown and Yamashita Park, where you walked during the day, from above is one of the pleasures. It gets cold along the waterfront after sunset, so please bring a jacket.
