2026 Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal Rooftop Plaza Night View: A Full-Day Course

This is a day to fully enjoy Yokohama's night view from the rooftop plaza of the Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal (横浜港大さん橋国際客船ターミナル), affectionately known as Kujira no Senaka, the whale's back (くじらのせなか). The rooftop plaza is open 24 hours a day and free to enter. From the wooden deck jutting out over the sea, you can take in a 360-degree view of the Minato Mirai skyscrapers, the Red Brick Warehouse (赤レンガ倉庫), and the Bay Bridge (ベイブリッジ), making it one of Yokohama's best-known night view spots. After strolling through Yamashita Park (山下公園) in the early afternoon and enjoying some waterfront time at Zou no Hana Park (象の鼻パーク), head to Osanbashi Pier before sunset. There you can take your time watching the transition from the evening glow to the moment the lights of Minato Mirai come on. There is an official notice that the wooden deck can give you splinters if you run and fall, so please walk when visiting with children. The sea breeze in autumn can be cold, so do not forget to bring something warm to wear.
