2026 Full-Day Course: The Night View of Enoshima Sea Candle (Enoshima Observation Lighthouse)
This is a day to enjoy the dusk and night views from Enoshima Sea Candle (江の島シーキャンドル), the Shonan symbol also known as the Enoshima Observation Lighthouse (江の島展望灯台). It is open 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (last entry 7:30 PM), though hours may vary depending on facilities or events. Admission is 800 yen for adults (junior high school age and up) and 400 yen for children (elementary school age). Combination tickets with the Escar (エスカー) and other facilities are also available (the Sea Candle set ticket: 1,100 yen for adults / 550 yen for children; the Enoshima 1-Day Pass: 1,550 yen for adults / 700 yen for children, among others), as well as an annual pass (1,500 yen for adults / 750 yen for children). Start in the early afternoon with street food along Benzaiten Nakamise Street, make your way up the island while visiting Enoshima Shrine, and head to the observation deck before sunset. From there you can take in the city lights of the Shonan coast, the sun setting over Sagami Bay (相模湾), and, under good conditions, even the silhouette of Mt. Fuji (富士山). Since operating hours can change depending on events, please check the official website for that day's hours before viewing at night. The observation deck is exposed over the sea and can get cold, so dress warmly.
