2026 Full-Day Course: Night View from Yamate-no-Mieru-Oka Park (Harbor View Park)

Spend a day enjoying the sunset and night views from Minato no Mieru Oka Park (Harbor View Park), a famous hilltop spot overlooking Yokohama Port. The park is open 24 hours a day (though the France-yama area closes at night, and hours vary seasonally, for example 7:00-18:00 in October and November), and with a parking lot and restrooms in place, it is easy to visit even with a stroller. From the observation deck, the Bay Bridge and Yokohama Port spread out right in front of you, and at night the harbor lights and the lights of passing ships shine, making it one of Yokohama's leading night-view spots. Enjoy shopping along Motomachi Shopping Street in the early afternoon, take in the atmosphere of the Western-style building at the Yokohama British House inside the park (9:30-17:00, free admission), then head to the observation deck before sunset. You can slowly savor the transition from evening view to night view. The hilltop can be chilly on autumn nights, so do not forget a jacket. On the way back, take a route that is not closed at night.
