2026 Inamuragasaki (稲村ヶ崎) Night View Full-Day Course
This is a day to enjoy everything from sunset to night views at Inamuragasaki (稲村ヶ崎), a cape jutting into the sea at Kamakura. In the early afternoon, visit Kotoku-in (高徳院), home of the Great Buddha of Kamakura, and Hase-dera (長谷寺), known as a temple of flowers, for a quintessentially Kamakura afternoon. In the evening, take the swaying Enoden (江ノ電) to Inamuragasaki. The park on the cape (Kamakura Kaihin Park, Inamuragasaki area (鎌倉海浜公園稲村ガ崎地区)) is, in principle, open year-round, 24 hours a day, with free admission. Right in front of you is Enoshima (江の島), and on clear days the silhouette of Mt. Fuji rises in the distance; after the sunset dyes the sea, the sight of lights coming on along Enoshima and the Shonan (湘南) coastline is a feast for the eyes found only here. There are also a parking lot and restrooms. After sunset the cape has strong, chilly sea winds, so dress warmly. The paths become dark, so bring a light and hold your children's hands as you walk.
