2026 Kurume City Observatory Starry Sky: A Full-Day Course

This is a day centered around the Kurume City Observatory (久留米市天文台), located inside the Kurume City Jojima Fureai Center (久留米市城島ふれあいセンター) in Jojima-machi, Kurume City. Stargazing sessions are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, 19:30-21:00 (reception 19:30-20:30), using a 40cm-aperture reflecting telescope, one of the largest in Fukuoka Prefecture. Free of charge, no advance reservation needed. Cancelled in rain; on cloudy days, please contact Kurume City (0942-62-6226) to check. It is about a 15-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Kurume (道の駅くるめ).
