2026 Kunigami Village Forest Park Starry Sky Full-Day Course

Kunigami Village Forest Park is a bungalow and camping site surrounded by Itajii forest, and it is home to the only observatory on Okinawa Island. The park is open from 9:00 to 18:00 and closed on Tuesdays. At night, entry is only possible when joining the stargazing tour 'Yambaru Dark Sky Forest' operated by the Kunigami Village Office Commerce and Tourism Division. Days, times, and fees vary and require individual inquiry (yambarudarkskyforest@vill.kunigami.okinawa.jp). Office hours are 10:00 to 17:00 (campsite TEL 0980-43-0514).
