2026 Full-Day Course: Stargazing at Hoshi no Bunkakan (Star Culture Museum)

A day centered on the public observatory Hoshi no Bunkakan (Star Culture Museum) in Hoshino Village, Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Opening hours are 10:30-22:00 on Mondays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and 12:50-22:00 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (last admission 21:30); closed every Tuesday. Twin domes house some of Kyushu's largest reflecting telescopes, 100cm and 65cm, with guided nighttime observation by specialist staff. Admission fees (from April 1, Reiwa 8) are: adults - planetarium 500 yen / observation 700 yen / set 900 yen; elementary school students - 300 yen / 500 yen / 600 yen; young children (age 4 and up) - 100 yen / 200 yen / 300 yen. Parking is available for 40 vehicles.
