This day centers on a stargazing event held at the Tottori Sand Dunes (鳥取砂丘) in Fukube-cho, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture. The event is hosted by Tottori Prefecture and guided by experts from Saji Astro Park (さじアストロパーク). Dates are announced individually (cancelled in case of rain or cloudy skies). Bringing a flashlight is recommended. We could not confirm details about the sand dunes' own opening hours, so please check the latest information on Tottori Prefecture's official website (https://www.pref.tottori.lg.jp/271285.htm) before you go.
