2027 Sarakurayama Astronomical Observation Night: A Full-Day Starry Sky Course

This day centers on the 'Sarakurayama Astronomical Observation Night' (venue: beside the annex of the Sarakurayama summit observation deck, 1481-1 Oaza Okura, Yahatahigashi-ku, Kitakyushu City) hosted by the company that operates the Sarakurayama Cable Car. No reservation is required (drop-in participation), and the observation event itself is free, but cable car / slope car fares (adults 1,230 yen, children 620 yen) are charged separately. The stargazing event begins at 19:30 and runs within the cable car's regular operating hours (10:00-22:00, last ascent 21:20). It is cancelled in case of cloudy or rainy weather. To avoid missing the last ascending car, we recommend arriving at the cable car base station by around 19:00.
