2026 Kagikake Pass (鍵掛峠) Stargazing: A Full-Day Course

This is a day for enjoying the starry sky at Kagikake Pass (鍵掛峠) in Kofu Town, Hino District, Tottori Prefecture. The entire area of Kofu Town is designated as a Dark Sky Preservation Area under the Tottori Prefecture Starry Sky Preservation Ordinance. The pass sits on the Daisen Loop Road at an elevation of approximately 910 m and has a free parking area (15 spaces). It may be closed in winter due to snow.
