2026 Full-Day Course: Starry Skies at Kagoshima Prefectural Kirishima Nature Interaction Center

This day centers on the 'Kagoshima Prefectural Kirishima Nature Interaction Center' in Takachiho, Makizono-cho, Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Opened in 1997 as a prefectural youth social education facility, it holds a 'Kirishima Stargazing Night' event every fiscal year using astronomical telescopes (most recently, an observation session for the Geminid meteor shower and Saturn and Jupiter was held on December 14, 2024). Please check the facility's official website in advance for event schedules and nighttime public opening hours.
