2026 Full-Day Starry Sky Course at Hinohara Tomin no Mori
Hinohara Tomin no Mori in Tokyo is a forest park at an elevation of 1,000-1,500 meters within Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park. In December, the park holds 'Geminid Meteor Shower and Nighttime Mammal Watching' and 'Star Watching in Kazuma' once a year (in winter). 'Star Watching in Kazuma' is open only to guests who have reserved dinner at an inn in the Kazuma area. Dates, participation conditions, and fees vary by year, so please check the official website for the latest information. At over 1,000 meters elevation, undisturbed by other light sources, you may even see the Milky Way if you're lucky.
