2026 Minoyama Park (美の山公園) Stargazing: A Full-Day Course

Minoyama Park (美の山公園), a prefectural park spanning Chichibu City and Minano Town, is the only spot in Saitama Prefecture selected as one of Japan's ‘100 Best Night Views.’ Admission and parking are both free, and the park is open year-round with no closing days. At the 581.5m summit, there are no streetlights and little surrounding light, making the stars easy to see, but since there is no nighttime lighting, be sure to bring a flashlight. There are Parking Lots 1 through 3 (all open 24 hours and free).
