2026 Full-Day Starry Sky Course at Muko City Planetarium

A day centered on the regular astronomical observation event at Muko City Planetarium, located within the grounds of Muko Shrine in Muko City, Kyoto Prefecture. Held on the third Saturday of every month (April 2026 to March 2027), from 19:00 to 20:00 during October to March. Admission is free for residents, workers, and students of Muko City and for young children; for those from outside the city, adults pay 700 yen and elementary/junior high school students pay 350 yen. Advance application required (via an in-person application form, return postcard, or the Kyoto Prefecture joint online application system), with a capacity of 50 people per session by lottery. During the day, you can also stop by the neighboring Muko City Cultural Museum (free admission, 10:00-18:00).
