2027 Fureai-no-Sato Observatory Starry Sky Full-Day Course

This day centers on Fureai-no-Sato Observatory (ふれあいの里天文台) in Shirosato Town, Higashiibaraki District, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is scheduled to open every Saturday, and no reservation is required. During winter (late December to February), opening hours are 19:00 (reception from 18:50) to 20:00 (last admission 19:40). The public stargazing session lasts about 20 minutes (a 10-minute talk on the 1st floor and 10 minutes of viewing on the 2nd floor). Admission is 300 yen for adults (high school age and up), 200 yen for children (elementary and junior high school), and free for preschoolers. Whether it opens is announced by loudspeaker on-site 30 minutes before opening based on the weather that day, and it is canceled in case of cloudy or rainy weather.
