2026 Hanatate Nature Park Observatory 'Bisuta' Full-Day Starry Sky Course

A day centered on the observatory 'Bisuta' (美スター) at Hanatate Nature Park (花立自然公園) in Hitachiomiya City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is held every Saturday (Saturdays and Sundays in August); from November to January it runs 18:00-20:00, and in other months 19:00-21:00. It is free but requires reservation, and in case of bad weather it switches to a video-based commentary or is cancelled. The observatory is equipped with an 82cm-aperture reflecting telescope built from design to assembly by amateur astronomers.
