2026 Gifu Star Watching Full-Day Course

This is a day centered on Gifu Star Watching (ぎふスターウオッチング), held on the 4th Saturday of every month at Nobunaga Yume Hiroba (信長ゆめ広場), just steps from the south exit of JR Gifu Station. For fiscal year 2026, sessions are scheduled for April 25, May 23, June 27, September 26, October 24, November 28, December 26, and January 23, February 27, March 27 of 2027. Session hours run 19:00-20:30 from March to September and 18:00-19:30 from October to February; there is no participation fee, and it is a stargazing session using astronomical telescopes (cancelled in bad weather such as cloudy or rainy conditions). The venue is either Nobunaga Yume Hiroba or the plaza in front of Gifu Station's south exit. In the evening, you can also stop by Gifu City Tower 43 (岐阜シティ・タワー43), located at the same station front, whose 43rd-floor observation deck is open 10:00-22:00 (last entry 21:45), free of charge, closed only on January 1.
