2026 Full-Day Starry Sky Course at Heartopia Anpachi

A day centered on the Star Watching Party held at Heartopia Anpachi in Hidori, Anpachi Town, Anpachi District, Gifu Prefecture. After about a 15-minute presentation in the planetarium, stargazing takes place at the 3rd-floor observatory (70cm-aperture reflector telescope) and on the rooftop (small telescopes). Admission is generally free (astronomy classes requiring materials may involve an actual-cost charge), no reservation is required, and the meeting point is in front of the 2nd-floor planetarium. The Star Watching Party is cancelled in rainy weather, but is replaced with a planetarium presentation and an observatory tour. The schedule is announced monthly on the official website, so please be sure to check the latest schedule before you go. During the day, you can also stop by Ogaki Castle, about a 15-minute drive away (9:00-17:00, last entry 16:30, admission 200 yen, closed Tuesdays).
