2026 Mewy Observatory Full-Day Starry Sky Course

Mewy Observatory (Odo, Ryugatake-machi, Kamiamakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture) is currently changing its regular closing days and opening hours due to a malfunction with its large astronomical telescope. Regular closing days are Mondays and Tuesdays each week, with opening hours from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. If you wish to use the facility at night (6:00 to 9:00 PM), a reservation is required by the day before (per the official Kamiamakusa City website). Please check the official website for the latest status.
