2026 Chausuyama Highland Starry Sky One-Day Course

Chausuyama Highland (茶臼山高原) is the highest-elevation highland in Aichi Prefecture, operated by the Chausuyama Kogen Association (一般財団法人茶臼山高原協会). The Tenku stargazing event (てんくう) is held once a month from April to November, on Saturdays from 18:30 to 22:00, offering commentary from a stargazing guide and stargazing while lying on a silver mat. A cafe is also open. Please check the official website for event dates and participation fees. Parking is available for 1,000 vehicles and is normally free (a fee applies during the Shibazakura Festival).
