2026 Kitami Pearson Memorial Museum and Stargazing Event One-Day Course

The stargazing event at the Hokumo Kitami Culture Center is held about once a month, mainly on Saturdays from 19:00 to 20:30, on an annual schedule (hosted by the Kitami City Board of Education and the center). Free admission, advance registration required (first-come basis on the official website, capacity varies from 30 to 60 people per session). In case of bad weather, only the planetarium commentary is held. The Pearson Memorial Museum is about 1.9km from the Hokumo Kitami Culture Center. Parking is available at the adjacent Nopputsumi Park parking lot (60 spaces, free).
