2026 Full-Day Course: Stargazing at the Minami-Rokuroshi Area Stargazing Spot

This is a day to enjoy the starry sky at the 'Minami-Rokuroshi Area Stargazing Spot' (南六呂師エリア 星空観望スポット) in Minami-Rokuroshi, Ono City, Fukui Prefecture. This area was certified in August 2023 as an Urban Night Sky Place by DarkSky International, and Ono City has developed a stargazing spot designed for nighttime viewing. There is no lighting along the walkway from the parking lot to the viewing spot, so please bring a flashlight and watch your step. During the day, we recommend stopping by Michi-no-Eki Echizen Ono Arashima no Sato (9:00-18:00, closed December 31 and January 1) or the Rokuroshi Highland Trona Hot Bath Facility Urara-kan (10:00-21:00, though 10:00-20:00 from December to February; bath fee 800 yen).
