2026 One-Day Course: Stargazing at the Minamiechizen Town Astronomical Observation Hall

A day to enjoy stargazing at the Minamiechizen Town Astronomical Observation Hall (南越前町 天体観察棟) inside Imajo 365 Outdoor Village in Itadori, Minamiechizen Town, Nanjo District, Fukui Prefecture. Opened in May 2026 and directly operated by Minamiechizen Town, the facility is equipped with a large, high-performance 50cm-aperture reflecting telescope and a sliding roof. Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 19:20-21:00, fully reservation-only (via the reservation form), with a capacity of 10 people per day. Admission is 300 yen for adults (high school age and up) and 200 yen for children (elementary and junior high school). On the same grounds is the day-trip hot spring Imajo 365 Onsen Yasuragi (今庄365温泉 やすらぎ) (11:00-20:30, closed Tuesdays, 600 yen for adults / 300 yen for children), where you can warm up before the observation session.
